The mains exam which was scheduled to take place between 22nd and 24th January 2021 has been postponed until further notice. JPCE had released the recent notification for the recruitment of 637 AE(Assistant Engineer) posts.
The minimum age to apply for JPSC was 21 years and the maximum age to apply for JPSC AE was 35 years. The candidate must have an engineering degree(BE/B.Tech) in civil engineering/mechanical engineering from the university which is recognized by the government. The candidates will undergo three phases to get recruited, preliminary examination, mains examination, and personality test. The prelims examination has 2 papers and the questions are MCQ based.
The mains examination which consists of two section objective paper and conventional paper. The students who are qualified in the mains examination are called for the Personality test.
As per the order of the Hon'ble High Court of Jharkhand, the JPSC AE mains exam which was scheduled to take place between 22nd to 24th January 2021 has been postponed until further notice. Check the official notification for the same.

The total number of marks allotted for Paper I is 100.
Every question carries 1 mark in Paper I.

Personality Test- JPSC AE Recruitment 2021
The candidates who are qualified in the mains examination are called for personality tests.
The personality test is conducted for 200 marks.
In the personality test, the JPSC pannel member keep interested in the candidate to the initiative, leadership, intellectually, mental and physical energy, curiosity and the integrity of character and other social activities.
