JPSC AE Exam Date 2021 i.e 22nd, 23rd, 24th October 2021

The mains exam which was scheduled to take place between 22nd and 24th January 2021 has been postponed until further notice. JPCE had released the recent notification for the recruitment of 637 AE(Assistant Engineer) posts.

  • The minimum age to apply for JPSC was 21 years and the maximum age to apply for JPSC AE was 35 years. The candidate must have an engineering degree(BE/B.Tech) in civil engineering/mechanical engineering from the university which is recognized by the government. The candidates will undergo three phases to get recruited, preliminary examination, mains examination, and personality test. The prelims examination has 2 papers and the questions are MCQ based.
  • The mains examination which consists of two section objective paper and conventional paper. The students who are qualified in the mains examination are called for the Personality test.
  • As per the order of the Hon'ble High Court of Jharkhand, the JPSC AE mains exam which was scheduled to take place between 22nd to 24th January 2021 has been postponed until further notice. Check the official notification for the same.

JPSC AE Selection Process
The candidate who wants to wish to get recruited as an assistant engineer has to undergo preliminary examination, mains examination and physical test.

  • The preliminary examination is conducted for 2 papers.
  • The total number of marks allotted for Paper I is 100.
  • Every question carries 1 mark in Paper I.
  • The total number of marks allotted for Paper II is 200.
  • Every question carries 2 marks in Paper-II.

Personality Test- JPSC AE Recruitment 2021

  • The candidates who are qualified in the mains examination are called for personality tests.
  • The personality test is conducted for 200 marks.
  • In the personality test, the JPSC pannel member keep interested in the candidate to the initiative, leadership, intellectually, mental and physical energy, curiosity and the integrity of character and other social activities.

Minimum Educational Qualification- Eligibility Criteria for JPSC AE Recruitment 2021    

Post Minimum Educational qualification
JPSC Assistant Engineer (Civil/Mechanical)
  • The candidate must have an engineering degree in the respective branch(Civil/Mechanical) from the University/Institute which is recognized by the state/central government or the institution recognized by AICTE(All India Council for Technical Education)
  • Such other equivalent qualification from the recognized university is also admissible.
